16 October 2016, Amsterdam, The Netherlands

The European Network on Vision and Language Integration organises a workshop as part of the prestigious 2016 Multimedia conference of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM-MM). The workshop will bring together the long-standing community of multimedia fusion and search with the emerging, vision-language integration community. This interaction is envisaged to inform all involved on lessons learned and current trends on vision-language fusion for multimedia applications, and on cutting-edge methodologies for joint modelling of visual and co-occurring language information. The workshop welcomes papers related to integration/fusion of language and vision for any application and domain. Original research as well as reviews and opinion/position statements are welcome! Check here a list of potential topics of interest and important dates for paper submission!
