Angeliki Altani was a research assistant in the Cognitive Systems Research Institute and the National Technical University of Athens from February to July 2013. She is now a PhD candidate at the University of Alberta, Canada. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Linguistics from the Faculty of Philology, School of Philosophy, University of Athens. She holds an MSc degree in “Basic and Applied Cognitive Science” from the University of Athens. She participated in the COGNIMUSE project, under the basic research program ARISTEIA, in collaboration with the National Technical University of Athens, funded by the Greek Ministry of Education and Ministry of Development. Within the COGNIMUSE project, she applied the COSMOROE framework, by annotating a multimedia corpus and exploring the semantic interplay between different modalities in audiovisual documents.
